Groups

In an addition to a number of regular opportunities -- Adult Forum, Women of Spirit, Quilters, and more -- we also feature occasional groups.

Augustana Maintenance Crew

This group meets the second Saturday of each month in the Lehr Library for coffee and fellowship and then tackles a variety of maintenance tasks at the church...both indoors and outside. 

Augustana Quilters

Quilters is an opportunity to provide service by putting together quilts for Lutheran World Relief and Lutheran Family Services. A regular meeting date is the third Tuesday of the month at 9 AM, August through May. Midmorning we stop for coffee and treats and a prayer service for strength and healing. Members also regularly sew, tie quilts, cut squares, and press fabric pieces between sessions. If you would like to visit to check us out feel free to do so. The assembling and pinning are not difficult and we “tie” rather than “quilt” so it’s not complicated. Please think of us when you are cleaning out your linen closets as we use sheets and lightweight blankets - even the stained and the thinner ones as they can go in the middle. We also welcome donations of washable fabric and thread.

Women's Breakfast Group

This informal group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9 AM at the Keystone Kafe, 7805 Military Avenue.
